Secret Santa generator

Type the names and get one link for the group. Everyone opens it, picks their own name and sees who they're buying for. It works in any phone browser: nothing to install, no sign-up, no email. Your organizer page never shows who drew whom.

Names are drawn as soon as you click. Nobody draws their own name, and the pairs you keep apart never draw each other. You get a private organizer page and the link to send to the group. With only three people, everyone can work out the whole draw from their own match.

How it works

  1. Type the names

    Add everyone taking part, and keep couples apart if you like. Set a budget and a date so nobody has to ask.

  2. Send one link

    Post it in the family or team chat. Each person opens it, taps their own name and sees who they drew. A name can be picked only once.

  3. Make a wishlist

    After picking their name, everyone gets a private page where they can make a wishlist with links from any store. Their Secret Santa sees it, so nobody has to guess.

Can the organizer see who drew whom?

Your organizer page shows who has picked their name and who has made a wishlist, never who drew whom. If you're taking part, pick your own name from the group link like everyone else.

Do people need an account or an email address?

No. It works in any browser, with nothing to install. The browser remembers the name you picked, and you can email yourself the link to your page to open it on another device. We don't save the address. Lost the page anyway? Ask the organizer to reopen your name, then pick it again. You'll get the same person.

What if someone picks a name that isn't theirs?

Each name can be picked only once. If someone takes the wrong one, the real person will see it's already picked and can tell you. You can reopen the name from your organizer page. A reopened name is marked on the group page, so everyone can see it happened.

Can couples be kept from drawing each other?

Yes. Add them under "Keep apart", one pair per line. If the pairs make a draw impossible, you'll be asked to remove one.

Someone joined late or dropped out. What now?

On your organizer page, choose "Draw again", change the names and send the group the new link. Then delete the old draw so nobody uses it by mistake.

Can we use it again next year?

Yes. Your organizer page has a button to draw again with the same names. Nobody gets the person they had last time, as long as their name is spelled the same.

Is it free?

Yes, it's free. One draw can have up to 100 people. For a bigger group, make two draws.
